Let
us embark on this journey then, dear friends – though a long and arduous
journey awaits us.
And this journey shall not only take us over the land and the rivers and mountains,
this journey shall also take us within ourselves, within our deepest selves.
This journey shall require us to be strong and resilient; and to draw on the
inner strength within ourselves. And as we will get to know unfamiliar land
and territory on our journey across Italy, so shall we each discover ourselves.
We shall find within ourselves, friends, the strength to do marvellous things.
On this journey we shall find within ourselves the strength and resilience and
tenacity that many of us may never have known was within ourselves all the while.
