Without hunger, the child smiles
There is a multitude. There are men, women and children.
It is a deserted place.
There is hunger.
Jesus and his disciples have five loaves and two fish.
The disciples want to send the people away.
Jesus asks for everyone to sit on the grass.
He prays and blesses and breaks the loaves and shares them with the multitude.
The children eat. The women eat. The men eat.
There is no more hunger.
There is a little child in their midst.
He is not hungry now. He can smile now.
The child smiles. Jesus smiles.
