Dance to the didgieridoo, and dance to the call of the deserts,
the howling deserts, and the roar of the waves.
Dance, Lord!
Dance!
Dance, Lord, dance in my heart; in my heart, on the raised platform there,
O Lord of Perfect Delight;
Ganesha, Lord of Joy, dance you in my heart.
With that smile, sweet Lord, with that abiding light in your eyes
with that regal forehead
with your arms and legs never still
O Lord of Delight, Lord Of Joy,
with that arm raised that holds the lotus of wisdom up for me
dance, Lord, dance in my heart;
on the raised platform of my heart, perform your gentle dance and dance to the smiles and to the sway of the bamboo grove.

Though I have no power or skill to raise a song or play music, ordinary even as I am (unlike Prospero), though unskilled I am with the drums and the cymbals, and the trombone and the saxophone; unskilled though I am in the harp and the bassoon and violin and the viola and the cello and the trumpet and the oboe and the clarinet; O though even ignorant of the rudimentary triangle I am, dance, Ganesha of my thoughts, dance to my fancy and imagination even, and dance to the orchestra.
To the symphony.
Grand. Exquisite. Stellar. Dance, Ganesha! Dance!
Simple. Surreal.
Sophisticated. Primordial. Dance, Pillayar! Dance!
Abstract. Concrete.
Visible. Invisible. Dance, Lord! Dance!

Dance, Lord, dance in my heart; in my heart, on the raised platform there, O Lord of Perfect Delight, Ganesha;
Lord of Joy, dance you in my heart.

dance before the multitudes
dance before the Divine Three
dance before the infinite known and unknown
dance before the solitary and those who come together
dance before the foolish, dance before the wise
dance before those come, those gone, and those yet to be
dance before Time, dance before Space
dance after Time, dance after Space
O lord of Perfect Bliss, dance you in my heart;
O Lord who commands me,
dance on the platform there where I can see
